Reserved Rights
These terms and conditions fulfill relevant Danish laws and regulations. The Tea Towel Company cannot guarantee that these terms and conditions comply with applicable laws and regulations in other EU countries. The Tea Towel Company reserves the right to update these terms and conditions so that they at all times fulfill applicable Danish legislation and Danish e-trade association recommendations. All content in The Tea Towel Company eShop is subject to change without notice. We do our utmost to ensure that descriptions and prices are correct and that only products in stock are shown, but we do not guarantee that errors cannot occur. Product colours are represented as correctly as possible in the eShop. However, we cannot guarantee that they are exactly as in the real products since many factors influence how colours are perceived on your screen.

ORDERING
Select the item you wish to buy by clicking on the “Add to Basket” button next to the product description. Click on the “View Basket” link to see the items you have selected but have not yet purchased. To complete your purchase, click on “Proceed to Secure CHECKOUT” in the View Basket page. You now fill in your name, address and email address (step 1, unencrypted), your method of payment (step 2, unencrypted) and credit card details (step 3, encrypted connection). Your purchase will be finalised and registered once you have clicked on “Accept” (step 3) and your credit card details have been confirmed by the issuer. An order confirmation will now appear (step 4) and you can print it out. You will also receive an email containing your order confirmation details. We recommend that you keep this mail for your records. However, if you delete it, we can send it to you again. Send us a mail at orders@theteatowelcompany.com asking us to do so.

Danish sales tax (25%) is included in all prices displayed on the website and must be paid by all customers in the European Union (EU). In accordance with the regulations regarding the free movement of products, customers residing in an EU country do not pay customs duties. Currently, The Tea Towel Company only accepts purchases from customers residing in the EU. If you place your order before 2PM CET, Monday-Friday, The Tea Towel Company will normally pack and send your order on the same day. Orders received after 2PM CET will usually be packed and sent on the next working day.

PAYMENT AND SECURITY
The Tea Towel Company accepts the following credit cards: Dankort, eDankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and JCB. The Tea Towel Company is licensed by the Danish PBS organisation to use these payment methods. All submitted credit card details are encrypted with a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol which ensures that the information is transmitted securely without anyone else having access to it. The Tea Towel Company does not have access to your credit card data. Nothing but the amount you have confirmed in connection with your purchase will be charged. Your credit card account will not be charged until The Tea Towel Company sends your order.

DELIVERY
All packages are sent using Post Danmark, a Danish postal service, and are given a tracking number (Track & Trace) so you can follow your package's way to your home. This service costs a little extra but helps make sure that your package arrives on time and to the right recipient. The delivery time within Denmark is normally from day to day (with the exception of Bornholm and some very small islands) and to other EU countries between two to seven working days. If your order is delayed, you will receive notification of this by email and information about when you can expect the package to be sent.

Delivery is free if your order exceeds DKK 500/GBP 61/EUR 67. Below this amount, there is a fixed delivery charge for deliveries within Denmark and for deliveries to the rest of Europe. The prices are as follows:

RETURNS
If you wish to return your products, you can do so up to 14 days after you have received the package by sending it to the company address:

Please remember to enclose a copy of your invoice/order confirmation and a note with your bank branch code and account number so that we can refund the total amount you have paid (incl. delivery charge). The Tea Towel Company will process a return as quickly as possible after receiving the package. The product must be returned in the same condition in which you received it. You may unpack the product as long as you can return it in the same condition. The right of cancellation will not apply if you have treated the product in such a way that makes it impossible to resell the product. If the products are returned as a result of a packing error or any other error on the part of The Tea Towel Company, we will then send the correct products to you and refund the postage charge you paid. Note that we do not accept Cash on Delivery parcels. Please note that you must pay the postage fee yourself when returning products to us.

Please enclose a copy of your invoice and a description of your complaint. Note that we do not accept Cash on Delivery parcels. In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act, you have a 24-month claim period, which means that if you find fault with a product during normal use, you can either have the product repaired or exchanged, your money refunded or you can obtain a discount in the price - all depending on the actual problem. This is of course on condition that the claim is valid and that the fault(s) with the product have not been caused by misuse. You must submit a claim within a reasonable time after you have noticed the fault. If you claim within 2 months, the claim is always considered as received within a reasonable time. We will refund the freight costs you paid to return the product if your claim is valid. Please use the cheapest freight method. If the package has been visibly damaged during shipping when you receive it, we recommend that you refuse to accept it. If your purchased items have been damaged during shipping, we will replace your purchase free of charge.

DATA PROTECTION
The Tea Towel Company only collects the personal data which is necessary for completion of a shopping transaction in the eShop: your name, address and e-mail address. You can provide your telephone number, but it is not necessary. No information you provide will ever be given or sold to third parties. The only type of cookies that The Tea Towel Company uses is "session cookies". These are needed to keep check of what has been added to your basket while you navigate around the website. These cookies are not saved on your PC. They disappear when you close your web browser. Only Elizabeth A. Andersen, the eShop owner and the person responsible for the eShop's data, has access to your personal data. The data is not stored in an encrypted form. According to Danish accounting laws, your data must be stored for 5 years after which it is deleted. You can at any time ask for information about the data we have stored about you. LOG STATISTICS
The Tea Towel Company uses a statistical system to gather information about how many visitors the eShop receives, from where they left the eShop, etc. This enables us to optimize our website and functionality.
